Z Point is a scenic viewpoint located in Kemmanagundi, a hill station in the Chikmagalur district of Karnataka, India. It's a popular destination for trekkers and nature lovers, offering stunning views of the Western Ghats.
The trek to Z Point is about 3 kilometers long and starts from Kemmanagundi Raj Bhavan. The initial part of the trail is easy, passing through a thick forest. You'll come across the beautiful Shanti Falls along the way.
After Shanti Falls, the trek becomes a bit more challenging, with narrow paths and steep inclines. However, the effort is definitely worth it when you reach the top and witness the breathtaking panorama.
From Z Point, you can see rolling hills, lush valleys, and cascading waterfalls. The view is especially spectacular during sunrise and sunset, when the sky is ablaze with colors.

Kemmanagundi is about 67 kilometers from Chikmagalur town. You can reach Chikmagalur by bus or train from major cities in Karnataka. From Chikmagalur, you can hire a taxi or jeep to reach Kemmanagundi.

The best time to visit Z Point is from October to February, when the weather is pleasant and cool. However, the trek can be slippery during the monsoon season (June to September).
