Unchalli Falls is a powerful cascade on the Aghanashini River near Siddapur in Karnataka's Uttara Kannada district. Also known as Lushington Falls, it drops through a densely forested gorge and is viewed from designated approaches rather than from the river below. Monsoon and the months immediately after it usually provide the strongest flow.
The falls require a road journey and a walk over uneven terrain, so wear sturdy shoes and carry drinking water. Wet-season paths can be slippery, and visitors should remain behind safety barriers.
