An Architectural Gem Dedicated to Shiva
The Thenupuriswarar Temple, also known as the Dhenupureeswarar Temple, is a magnificent Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Located in the village of Patteeswaram, roughly 6 kilometers from Kumbakonam, the temple is a revered pilgrimage site.
Grand Entrances and Towering Gopurams
The temple boasts a grand structure with five towering gopurams (gateway towers) that rise majestically. The main gopuram facing east has seven tiers, while the others have five. A Spiritual Journey Through Three Prakarams
