Srivaikuntam is a town located in the Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu, India. It is known for being the birthplace of Saint Nammalvar, one of the twelve Alvars, revered poet-saints of Tamil Nadu who dedicated their hymns to the Hindu god Vishnu.
