The Mogalarajapuram Caves are a group of five rock-cut cave temples located in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. Dating back to the 7th century, they were excavated during the Eastern Chalukya reign .

Getting There:
The Mogalarajapuram Caves are located about 5 kilometers (3 miles) east of the city center of Vijayawada. You can easily reach them by auto rickshaw or taxi. If you are coming from outside the city, Vijayawada is well connected by rail, road, and air.
Opening Hours and Entry Fees:
The caves are open from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM from Tuesday to Saturday and from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Wednesdays. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays. There is a nominal entry fee to visit the caves.
What to See:
The five caves are spread out over a small area. While some caves are not in the best condition, one cave in particular is well maintained and houses some beautiful sculptures. These sculptures depict various Hindu deities, including Shiva, Nataraja (dancing Shiva), Ardhanareeshwara (half Shiva and half Parvati), Ganesha, and Vishnu.
