The Dallas Texas Temple is located in a wooded residential area in northern Dallas, Texas. It is easily accessible by car and is also served by public transportation.
By car:
The temple is located at 6363 Willow Lane, Dallas, TX 75230. From Dallas, take the Dallas North Tollway north to the Willow Lane exit. Turn left on Willow Lane and the temple will be on your left.
By public transportation:
The temple is served by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) bus route 525. The bus stop is located at the intersection of Willow Lane and Preston Road, just a short walk from the temple.
Once you arrive:
The temple is situated on a beautifully landscaped 6-acre site. The grounds include trees, grass fields, and flower gardens, creating a peaceful and reverent atmosphere. The temple itself is a striking building with a light-colored marble facade and a dark gray slate roof. It has six spires, the tallest of which is topped with a statue of the angel Moroni.
Inside the temple:
The temple has five ordinance rooms, four sealing rooms, and a baptistry. These rooms are used for religious ceremonies and ordinances that are performed by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The temple is open to members of the Church who have a temple recommend.

The Dallas Texas Temple was dedicated in 1984 and underwent a major renovation in 1989. The temple is a significant landmark for members of the Church in Texas and the surrounding area. It is a place of peace and reverence where members can come to worship and participate in sacred ordinances.

The temple is closed on Sundays and Mondays. It is also closed for a few weeks each year for maintenance.
