Baan Hollanda is an information center on the history of Dutch–Thai relations, built at the site of the Dutch East India Company settlement in Ayutthaya. Exhibitions explain how Dutch merchants lived and traded in seventeenth-century Siam, while archaeological remains and recovered objects help connect that history to the riverside location.
At Baan Hollanda, visitors can use the indoor displays to understand Ayutthaya’s role as an international trading capital before exploring the grounds of the former settlement. The center is operated by a nonprofit foundation, and schedules can change for maintenance, programs or holidays, so current visitor information should be checked directly. Archaeological areas should be treated carefully, and photography or access instructions inside the exhibition should be followed.
